in Progress Making
a World of Difference Confidence, especially in business, can be the difference between chasing a dream and achieving one. For Erica Michaliga, proud owner of the brand new Atmosphere Full Service Salon and Day Spa, confidence - in herself and the region that she calls home - was the key to immeasurable success.
Today, Atmosphere Full Service Salon and Day Spa is located on Route 315 in Plains Township. A state-of-the-art facility, Atmosphere employs professional and cutting edge technology in both spa and salon services. Aptly named, the spa boasts an aesthetic brilliance that captures customers when they walk through the door. The design and décor of Atmosphere's chic interior demands only one reaction - wow. "You can't appreciate the beauty of the facility until you've come to visit," Erica explains. "And as soon as you step through those doors, you're our guest. You're pampered from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Don't come here if you don't want to relax." Warm, intimate and inviting, the soothing and sophisticated ambiance of Atmosphere stimulates the senses, calms the nerves and capitalizes on aromatherapy. Wall-to-wall hard wood floors, exquisite furniture and explicit detail point out that Erica spared no expense to offer the very best of experiences to her customers. Creativity,
Humor and Common Sense:
In the world of CDS Creative, imagination runs wild, color is prominent and toys are abundant. And Catherine Shafer, proud owner, is responsible for it all. A perfect combination of creativity and practicality, CDS Creative is a Public Relations powerhouse. The creative force responsible for transforming the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza into an elegant ballroom for the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber's Annual Dinner is a one-of-a-kind full service advertising, marketing and public relations firm. From media advertising to web design and everything in between, Catherine's crew solves problems with creativity and stress with humor. With a degree in Theatre from Bucknell, and an MBA from Wilkes University, Catherine got her start when she accepted a marketing position at First Eastern Bank. After starting a family, she decided she could do public relations on her own and started small in 1984 with local customers, writing ads, designing brochures and often just helping out friends with pro-bono work. Seven years ago, Catherine purchased the building that is now CDS headquarters on Wyoming Avenue in Forty Fort, PA. After a recent renovation, expanding the business to the facility's second floor, the office is truly a haven for ideas. Bright, airy and colorful, the CDS headquarters are a different world that spurs creativity and gives the imagination room to breathe. Catherine's office alone boasts a most impressive toy collection, but it doesn't hold a candle to the giant yellow slide placed strategically to link the second floor with the office foyer.
